The SETI Institute is seeking an experienced Project
Manager to help develop and manage an open,
Software-Defined Radio Telescope (SDRT) project. The SDRT
will be the next generation computing platform designed to
support the processing requirements for the Allen
Telescope Array (ATA).
Senior System Administrator

ATA Postdoctoral Associate
The SETI Institute seeks an EE, EECS, CS, Physics, or Astronomy Postdoctoral Associate to be resident at the Institute in Mountain View, California for a negotiable period of one to three years to study the characteristics of the interstellar radio channel in conjunction with broadband signals and array antenna processing in a NASA-supported project. The goal is to expand the repertoire of signals that are searched using the new Allen Telescope Array.

Research Associate
The SETI Institute is seeking a Research Associate to work on a number of different laboratory based projects. The goal of these projects is to understand chemical processes that were important to the chemistry, origin of life, origin of photosynthesis, and habitability of early terrestrial planets. Specific laboratory projects include: modeling the chemistry of the early Martian atmosphere; understanding the chemistry of photosynthesis and how it may have given rise to protocellular life; and the measurement of how abiotic reactions may have fractionated the stable isotopes of carbon and nitrogen.
